Specially trained squirrels are great
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was great!
If you haven’t seen it yet, go. Now. It was so, so cute and funny. I was really concerned that I wouldn’t like it, as Johnny’s Willy Wonka character in the previews just rubbed my the wrong way. I still have to say I like Gene Wilder better, but it didn’t matter because the movie was just really great. The squirrels were my favorite part :)
We saw it at the IMAX, and paying double the price was totally worth it. Also, going to the 12:30 movie was a good idea, thank goodness I didn’t let Ben sleep in for the 2:30 showing because when we walked out of the theatre there was a good 100+ people waiting in the lobby for the showing. Ours wasn’t even completely full!
Photo Saturday
We went to the house last night, we were so excited to see any progress that we went a day early.
Not as much progress as we had hoped, but still some. The master bathrooom still has not been grouted, but at least half naked workers were not in there so I could get a picture. The tile goes absolutely perfectly with the color of the walls, however I have to admit it’s a smidge bland with all the matching. We’ll have to work on adding a little extra color when we move in - hot pink towels or something ;)
They also put in all of the light fixtures, both inside and outside. They look really nice and I’m SO thankful we paid the extra money and got brushed silver instead of the standard brass.
Still no cabinets which was the one thing we really hoped they had started to put in, but we found them in the garage, so hopefully they’ll go in really soon!
Today Ben and I are going to try to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the IMAX, so everyone cross your fingers that it’s not too crowded. I have no desire to sit, jam packed, with a million . I don’t know about you all, but it really ruins the enjoyment of the movie if you’re sitting right next to a stranger.
Tomorrow Ben’s parents are coming into town and want to have dinner and go see the house again. I love to see them, and we both love an excuse to go see the house again ;)
